About the role
Infirexa's AI division builds production AI features for client products — retrieval-augmented chatbots, recommendation engines, document processing and workflow automation. You will take these from prototype to something that holds up under real traffic, with evaluation and cost control built in.
What you'll do
- Design and ship LLM-backed features, including RAG pipelines and agent workflows
- Build and deploy Python services with FastAPI behind real production load
- Set up evaluation harnesses so model quality is measured, not assumed
- Monitor and control inference cost and latency
What we're looking for
- 2-4 years in ML engineering or backend work with a strong ML component
- Strong Python, plus practical experience with the OpenAI or Gemini APIs
- Understanding of embeddings, vector search and retrieval evaluation
- Ability to reason about where an LLM is and is not the right tool
